Nightmare Before Christmas

So our last minute christmas preparations consisted of creating a gluten-free Nightmare Before Christmas cake.  It was fun to watch Scott create this cake from fondant.  I helped by staying out of the way.  I didn't quite get the sense of accomplishment Scott was feeling until I heard him giddy with excitement as he placed the head on Jack Skellington.  Because Scott had so much fun doing this cake, he decided to make a snowboard cake for Brody's 17th birthday, which is on Christmas Eve.  Family came to help us celebrate and the best thing of all was to be able to eat the cake, along with everyone else, because it was gluten-free.  I cant help but think of all the gluten intolerant people out there this Christmas season enjoying a gluten-free treat because of our bakery.
